Realm.Security Closes $15M Series A to Advance AI-Native Platform

Realm.Security Closes M Series A to Advance AI-Native Platform

Boston-based Realm.Security has secured $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Jump Capital, bringing its total funding to $20 million. The round featured participation from seed round investors Accomplice and Glasswing Ventures, both Boston-area firms.

Founded by Jeff Kraemer, Pete Martin and Sanket Choksey, Realm emerged from stealth mode in September 2024 with an AI-powered Security Data Pipeline Platform (SDPP) that integrates and manages security information from diverse sources to streamline Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows.

Realm’s SDPP is designed to embed artificial intelligence throughout the data pipeline, applying real-time analysis and filtering to surface only actionable, essential security data. This approach addresses the escalating challenge enterprise SOC teams face with overwhelming volumes of security data and rising Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) costs. By eliminating the need for manual rule-writing and constant reconfigurations, Realm’s platform adapts dynamically to changing security tools and data environments.

“Security teams are drowning in log volume and complexity, forced to choose between overspending on SIEMs or missing critical data sources,” said Martin, who serves as CEO. “Legacy pipelines rely on customers to do all of the deployment, configuration and maintenance given AI is not embedded in their architecture.”

Kraemer and Choksey have deep experience in security operations and scalable architectures. Kraemer has worked at Carbon Black and Brightflag, while Choksey has previously worked at VMware and Carbon Black. Martin brings management experience, having grown companies through seven exits, including two IPOs.

“Traditional pipelines treat all data the same. Realm doesn’t, said Martin. “We embed AI and machine learning throughout the pipeline, analyzing and structuring telemetry in real time so SOC teams only see what matters in their environment.”

Martin, who has previously worked at cybersecurity firm Rapid7, pointed out that the “problem we set out to solve hasn’t changed.”

Realm says its AI-native platform gives chief information security officers (CISOs) and SOCs clean, structured data they can trust that is fast, efficient and radically more cost-effective.

Industry observers say Realm’s platform marks a significant shift from brute-force data collection towards intelligent data processing. Using machine learning to decide which logs and alerts are worth retaining, the platform reduces irrelevant data that traditionally clogs SIEM systems.

Early enterprise users have reported measurable savings within days of deployment, including lower storage costs and accelerated incident response times. For example, Vensure Employer Solutions says it saves $250,000 a year by reducing firewall logs by 83%.

The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate product development and expand Realm’s market reach. The company aims to innovate further on AI integrations and enhance the platform’s capability to make security data smarter and more actionable every day. This funding positions Realm to address the urgent need enterprises face in managing cyber risk amid ever-growing data complexity and threat landscapes.
