Skin Analytics raises £15m to deliver AI skin cancer detection worldwide
UK health tech company Skin Analytics has secured £15 million in Series B funding led by Intrepid Growth Partners.

The firm will use the funding to expand its focus and launch products that cover all dermatology concerns as well as expand internationally to other key markets struggling with dermatologist shortages such as Europe and Australia.
It will also accelerate their move into the US market.
Neil Daly, founder and CEO of Skin Analytics, said: “AI allows us to move from a world of specialist scarcity to one where we have the capacity to see everyone who is concerned about their skin.
“Starting with skin cancer, this funding allows us to work with our partners to build new models of care that everyone can access, whenever they want to.
“That brings us closer to the world where no one dies from skin cancer.
“We have proven this technology in the UK and are now making it available globally.”
Scottish tech firms link up to enhance care
Archangel has announced a partnership with Rainbow Sensors that at could transform and improve the lives of individuals living within a range of care settings.
The agreement will see the integration of Rainbow Sensors’ care sensor technologies with Archangel’s Ambient Assisted Living platform to deliver actionable, data-driven, proactive insights for their customers.
This collaboration delivers solutions that can be applied across the entire care system, from homecare and grouped living to residential care, and provides real-time insights into individual wellbeing, property conditions and environmental factors.
Rainbow Sensors distributes a wide range of unobtrusive IoT (Internet of Things) sensors aimed at care services across the UK, whilst Archangel seamlessly connects and aggregates data from the latest digital and IoT technologies into an advanced platform.
This enables service providers to assess data holistically and respond proactively to any health and care issues that might arise for individuals.

Partnership aims to give students better access to GPs and essential healthcare
Student discount app Student Beans has today announced a partnership with modern healthcare platform HealthKey to improve how UK students can access essential healthcare services.
Student Beans’ members will gain access to a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including unlimited GP consultations which can be accessed via text and video call, six sessions of therapy or counselling, and three wellbeing apps covering neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ health, and a healthy habit coach.
HealthKey’s platform will also connect students with hundreds of vetted healthcare providers using an Uber-like matching experience designed specifically for students that find it easier to engage with doctors digitally rather than attend surgeries.

Cofertility closes Series A funding
Cofertility, a fertility ecosystem that helps women freeze their eggs for free when donating half, has announced the successful completion of a Series A funding round.
The company has now raised a total of $16 million in funding to fuel their mission of making egg freezing more accessible and egg donation less transactional.
As part of the broader consumerisation of healthcare, Cofertility aims to transform fertility care by empowering patients with more flexible and transparent options.
The funding will be primarily used towards the further development of Cofertility’s proprietary, user-friendly technology platform, a custom-built egg donor database that streamlines the entire egg donation process, from recruitment and matching to cycle coordination.

Makler said: “As a rapidly growing, female-founded organisation, we have always been committed to making fertility care more equitable.
